The event features three co-located events:  Oman Power Forum, Oman Water and Wastewater Forum and Oman Solar Forum.

The Seventh International Istanbul Smart Grids and Cities Congress and Fair (ICSG 2019) will be held April 25th through the 26th, 2019.

 

The annual 7th International Istanbul Smart Grid and Cities Congress is a leading international event on smart grids and smart cities. ICSG 2019 seeks to bring together researchers, practitioners, developers, and users to explore and discuss cutting-edge ideas and results, and the state-of-the-art innovations and to exchange techniques, tools, and experiences.

 

The Congress is technically sponsored by the IEEE Power & Energy Society (IEEE-PES), and sponsored by Republic of Turkey Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Association of Distribution System Operators (ELDER) and Natural Gas Distribution Companies Association of Turkey (GAZBIR)

Currently, many electricity distribution company have been involved in this transformation in Turkey having 35 millions of water subscribers, 35 millions of electricity subscribers and 10 millions of natural gas subscribers with a population of 80 millions of people.


Consequently, this congress, to be held within the transitional stage of Turkey, will provide an international platform in order to throw the participants together with all the shareholders, find answers to many questions, teach the latest innovations about smart grids, show sample applications and define investment strategies.

The purpose of the 8th International Conference on Smart Cities and Green ICT Systems (SMARTGREENS) is to bring together researchers, designers, developers and practitioners interested in the advances and applications in the field of Smart Cities, Green Information and Communication Technologies, Sustainability, Energy-Aware Systems, and Technologies.


Papers describing advanced prototypes, systems, tools and techniques and general survey papers indicating future directions are also encouraged. Papers describing original work are invited in any of the areas listed below. Accepted papers, presented at the conference by one of the authors, will be published in the Proceedings of SMARTGREENS. Acceptance will be based on quality, relevance and originality. Both full research reports and work-in-progress reports are welcome. There will be both oral and poster sessions.


Special sessions, dedicated to case-studies and commercial presentations, as well as tutorials dedicated to technical/scientific topics, are also envisaged: companies interested in presenting their products/methodologies or researchers interested in holding a tutorial, workshop or special session are invited to contact the conference secretariat or visit the SMARTGREENS conference website.
