The OSGP Alliance is very pleased to welcome Shenzhen Kaifa Technology (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. as a new member  

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 12 September 2023: Founded in 1985, Kaifa Group is a cutting-edge solution provider in the areas of IoT, AI, smart plant, IC packing and testing, PC and consumer electronics manufacturing. In 1995, as a result of the European smart metering business growth, KAIFA engaged into the business as a member of the Kaifa Group. Now, as a leading end-to-end AMI solution provider and utility business digitalization enabler, KAIFA has delivered more than 50 million smart meters to Europe, totaling over 84 million smart meters to 80 utilities in 40 countries worldwide.  

In order to further expand its activities, KAIFA has chosen the OSGP architecture for its intelligent smart metering. KAIFA believes that interoperability standards are needed to guarantee innovation in terms of adopting new technologies and open standards as they become available. In addition, protocols must be secure in order to ensure flawless confidentiality of data from the energy users.
